Lunahora — Privacy Policy

Lunahora (“the app”) is developed by Oleksii Yatsenko, an individual developer (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. In short: everything the app calculates stays on your phone, and we do not collect personal data.

What the app uses and where it stays

Location. The app asks for your approximate location to calculate sunrise, sunset and the lunar day for your place. The location is used only on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. If you do not allow access, the app uses a default city or a city you choose in Profile.

Birth data. If you enter your date, time and place of birth for personal readings, they are stored only on your device.

Your questions. Questions you ask in “Ask the Moon” and their answers are stored only on your device, in the app’s history.

Settings. Your language, city, ayanamsa and other settings are stored only on your device.

What we do not do

Purchases

Premium subscriptions and purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details. To check whether Premium is active, the app and our subscription service provider, RevenueCat, receive an anonymous app identifier and the purchase records provided by the store. These are not linked to your identity.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

Deleting your data

All data is stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes it. You can also clear your birth data and question history in the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
